Kombucha nutrition label template

A typical brew starts with about 70 g sugar per litre of sweet tea, but during fermentation the yeast and bacteria consume most of it. Finished kombucha usually has around 2–4 g sugars per 100 ml, so this template enters only the residual sugar (about 25 g per litre), not the sugar you added. The real value depends on your brewing time – a lab analysis of the finished drink is strongly advised before you print a label. Kombucha also contains a little alcohol; above 1.2 % vol it no longer falls under the nutrition declaration rules and must state the alcohol content.

This starting recipe (1025 g raw, 4 portions of 250 g) works out at roughly 46 kJ / 11 kcal, 0 g fat, 2.4 g sugars and 0.01 g salt per 100 g. Replace the quantities with your own – the label updates live.
